Torn ACL - OUCH!

A few weeks ago my I made an appointment to see the doctor for my knee, it was hurting more and more since we got to England. So the doctor ordered an MRI and today I had an appointment at orthopedics to get the actual results. On the phone she told me I had a partial tear of the ACL but today I found out from another doctor that it is a complete tear of the ACL. My two choices are to wear a big clunky brace when I am doing strenuous activities for the rest of my life or surgery. So I think I am going to have to go the surgery route. I will call him back on Monday and let him know and hopefully we can get it scheduled as soon as possible. Wish me luck!!!
